The highly anticipated DWRF Golf Tournament tees off this year at the majestic Shingle Creek Golf Club. This challenging yet playable David Harman design lies along historic Shingle Creek, and features interconnected waterways, undulating fairways and breathtaking 360° views. Tee-off with us at 8:00 am.  The entry fee is $195.00 per person ($59.00 is tax deductible), which includes transportation, green fee, golf cart, and a continental breakfast. Cash prizes will be awarded, and the Pro Shop is open to all.

IBWA President’s Report

IBWA President and CEO Joseph K. Doss (pictured at left) addresses the membership and discusses highlights of the year’s achievements, the present state of IBWA, and what’s in store for the future.

 

IBWA Annual Business Meeting

IBWA Chairman Stewart Allen, DS Waters, opens the IBWA Annual Business Meeting, which will include a report on IBWA’s membership consideration of a proposed bylaws change, and the election of new members and officers to the IBWA Board of Directors. 

IBWA carves out another memorable moment at the General Session with the historic Passing of the Gavel ceremony, which honors the leadership, time, and commitment of 2010 Chairman Stewart Allen, and formally installs Scott Hoover, Roaring Spring Bottling, as the 2011 IBWA chairman. 

 

The IBWA Awards Program – Recognition of Excellence in the Bottled Water Industry!

Awards for Route Salesperson and the 2010 Kristin Safran/IBWA Board of Directors Award will be presented at the IBWA General Session this year.  In addition. In addition, the following panel will take place during this session:

IBWA member companies share their actions to reduce the environmental footprint of bottled water, such as light-weighting their bottles, using RPET, using biodegradable and compostable materials, using hybrid trucks, etc. These companies will also discuss their efforts to assist federal, state and local agencies and organizations during natural disasters (floods, hurricanes, etc.) and other emergency situations.
